Police: Man caught stealing from vending machines

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- A 33-year-old man is charged with burglary in the second degree, being in possession of implements capable of being used in a crime and resisting arrest, all for allegedly stealing money from vending machines at Stratford High School.
Police were called by the Sonitrol Alarm company for a "glass breakage alarm" at the school's Technology and Industrial Building around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Dispatch told police on the way to the school that more alarms were going off in the ROTC wing and that "the alarm company stated it sounded like something was being destroyed inside the building." continue reading
